Despite the visual challenges, she wants to be an example of never giving up on living within your season.
For the last five years, she has produced Visions Charity, a fundraising gala and fashion show designed to showcase her designs as well as offer the platform for other designers and artists to participate in this festivity. Partial proceeds have supported Prevent Blindness Ohio Affiliate and The Cleveland Sight Center. Stephanie has a vast knowledge of eye diseases, as she was born with a degenerative eye disease. She maintains her independence with some form of life restrictions. But she doesn’t let that stop anything that she can accomplish! She cheerfully shares information on how to maintain healthy vision to individuals that may struggle with vision issues or desire information on Prevent Blindness.
Stephanie is the wife of Michael Nunn, mother to two sons, Jahi and David, and a doting "Nana".
Crochet and Knit is my "first" medium. the yarn and needle is what canvas and paintbrush is to an artist. In essence it is art. My love of textiles is a basic sense of touch. While enjoying the art of creating beautiful ensembles, the passion of artistry is in the forefront of creating. Stephanie is inspired to create original ensembles that incorporate textiles such as yarn, wire, cord and fabrics; while creating ensembles producing casual ensembles to intricate hand strung beaded masterpieces of wearable art. HUMAN ARTWORK IN MOTION!
